Completing its third year, the literary event was a great success. Over 260 guests filled the auditorium to its walls to listen to best-selling novelist Elizabeth Forsythe Hailey (who wrote a Woman of Independent Means) moderate discussions about their works with award winning authors Maile Meloy, Marianne Wiggins, Naomi Hirahara and Attica Locke. Proceeds from the Pasadena Festival of Women Authors Committee benefit the Pasadena Senior Center.
